Monday Mailbox

I've been off on an entirely different sort of journey myself this past weekend (by plane) but I love that another kind of journey landed in my mailbox. This week's mailbox arrival:

Going Somewhere by Brian Benson came from Plume.

A guy lacking direction meets a woman who convinces him to bicycle from Wisconsin to somewhere in the West in this memoir. I may not get on a bike often (ever) but the story of their journey and their relationship as they face the realities of the road sounds completely fascinating to me.

If you'd like to see the marvelous goodies in other people's mailboxes, make sure to visit Mailbox Monday and have fun seeing how we are all doing our part to keep the USPS and delivery services viable.

I have had to disable the anonymous comment option to cut down on the spam and I apologize to those of you for whom this makes commenting a chore. I hope you'll still opt to leave me your thoughts. I love to hear what you think, especially so I know I'm not just whistling into the wind here at my computer.
